The Originals and The Vampire Diaries Trailers

Oh. My. Gods. AMAZING. I want to see these. Now. I'm dying to see the shows... NOW. Rebekah's back! Which is awesome since I love her and Claire Holt. It seems like Hayley is going a little psycho killer, though, poor Hayley, 'loosing' her baby, being a hybrid... But then Ester and Finn are bad -_- Ugh AND Mikael. BUT we saw KOL AHHHHH he better be in season 2! Ugh I really don't like Divinia like seriously what was she thinking about bringing MIKAEL back?!!! He's just going to kill everyone and burn the city again! Which parent to kill first Klaus asks? I vote Mikael then get rid of Ester giving her time to bring Kol back....
Then the Vampire Diaries trailer somehow made a very sad thing funny. I ship Delena really hard so I hope that somehow that'll work back in in season 6. I HAVE heard the rumors that Ian asked to be killed because of their romance together that, well, ended.
I can't decide which trailer I like more, The Originals- Intense The Vampire Diaries- Hilarious. I just want both shows up ASAP.

Bloodlines Series (Books 1-5) by Richelle Mead

Picture
Picture
Okay so this series is a spin-off series of Vampire Academy so if you haven't read Vampire Academy there are spoilers below.
So this is one of those spin offs that don't do better than the original. I LIKE this series but I don't love it. Bloodlines and The Golden Lily were pretty boring to be honest, I literally hated Bloodlines. Sydney never really interested me much so really the only reason I started reading this series was for Adrian. All together I would rate this series a 7/10, not my favorite. I never was a big fan of Jill either and seriously even though these books started because of her she's hardly in them after the first book. Like really, if you're going to write a story based off of the fact Jill needs to be protected then at least keep Jill in the story. I lied before I didn't just read this book for Adrian, I read it to see how Lissa, Christian, Rose and the gang was doing.
Here's the synopsis for Bloodlines

Blood doesn't lie...

Sydney is an alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of human and vampires. They protect vampire secrets - and human lives. When Sydney is torn from her bed in the middle of the night, at first she thinks she's still being punished for her complicated alliance with dhampir Rose Hathaway. But what unfolds is far worse. Jill Dragomir - the sister of Moroi Queen Lissa Dragomir - is in mortal danger, and the Moroi must send her into hiding. To avoid a civil war, Sydney is called upon to act as Jill's guardian and protector, posing as her roommate in the last place anyone would think to look for vampire royalty - a human boarding school in Palm Springs, California. But instead of finding safety at Amberwood Prep, Sydney discovers the drama is only just beginning.

Mmm, Bloodlines like I said before was actually really boring, it only starts getting better around Indigo Spell, in my opinion. So if you haven't read this series yet you should read it before you read the spoiler-y section because I do not want to spoiler you, so byeeee.
Actually you could still read this review you probably wouldn't really get it and you'd just be spoiled so there's no point in that.

SPOILERS FOR BLOODLINES BELOW

So my first question in this book was 'is Keith the reason she owes Abe so much?' Oh look, I was right. Turns out Keith raped her older sister and Sydney had Abe stage an attack and take out Keith's eye.
When I first heard about some old guy who didn't like the Moroi government I immediately assumed it was Robert, but nope it was Clarence.
I seriously did only read this to hear about Adrian and the rest of the VA group, I didn't really care at all for Sydney. I was like cheering when Rose came to drop off Jill, yay, we still got to see her.
When Clarence mentioned Vampire Hunters, I knew there had to be some even after Lee was killed, if an author mentions ANYTHING really it's usually foreshadowing.
I think we could all figure out Jill was Shadowkissed from the beginning with the conversation Sydney overheard between Abe and Adrian. And I think we all also figured out that Jill was 'hungover' because Adrian had been drinking.
I loved Adrian's protectiveness over Jill, though I STILL don't know how I feel about Jill (Ugh I just rhymed) I love the protectiveness all the same.
A note I wrote about half way through the book was 'This is so boring I want to hear about Lissa, Rose, Christian and Adrian. And more Adrian.' because really in the first book there actually ISN'T that much of Adrian we get more of him later on in the series. But even though it was boring I think we can all agree that Keith is an asshole.
I was very confused about what the tattoos had to do with this story line, like they kept bringing it up and I could tell they were something important but I couldn't figure out what.
It was so funny when Adrian would pick on Keith because he knew he hated Vampires. Like "Enter. If. You. Dare." and "O positive, my favorite." I knew that was a joke immediately because Adrian doesn't like his blood unless it's directly from the vein as said by Rose in the Vampire Academy series.
"I've seen age difference, theirs is nothing." Poor Adrian it was obvious that he was referring to Rose and Dimitri,
Ugh another thing that annoyed me about this book was that Sydney HATED vampires. I know that's part of the point of these books, her getting over her fear of them and such, but when she was like flipping out about Jill playing with the water magic I was just like What the heck is your problem?
Okay so I caught on to Lee pretty fast, but I was half wrong in my theory. I thought that Lee was a Vampire Hunter for some weird reason because he was in LA when Sydney came to save Adrian and when that girl got murdered and I was immediately like LEE!!
Another idea I got was when Eddie froze when he saw Micah I was just like Mason? No joke, that was the first thought that popped into my head and I was also partially right because Micah is a 'dead ringer' for Mason.  I wonder if that'll play in in Ruby Circle or if it's just a fact.
Overall the characters just annoyed me in this book, except for Eddie, even Adrian annoyed me sometimes. I was especially annoyed when Jill had a temper tantrum and ran off with Lee.
Keith seemed like a suspicious character to me from the beginning, so when she was in the tattoo shop I was like... hmmm.. what if Keith was the one supplying them and killing off the vampires?
"It takes a lot of tries before you hit perfection. Well, except for my parents, they got it first try." Lol Adrian.
I thought Keith might have raped Sydney and that's why she hated him so much, but I actually don't remember her ever mentioning she had TWO sisters in VA so I thought Zoe was the one who was only good for Make up which is why I was confused at the beginning on why she wanted to go so badly.
I didn't even feel that bad about Lee, I was just ecstatic that I was right about him. When Adrian showed up I was practically cheering but then I remembered that he couldn't really fight I always seem to forget that about Adrian. I never came up with the theory that Lee used to be Strigoi and I'm also curious about who turned him back, will that play in later too?
I was ALMOST cheering when Eddie broke down the door and completely kicked those two strigoi's asses. That was amazing.
Then I was annoyed at Sydney again because she wouldn't even let Adrian freaking heal her when she was hurt.
I was so sad for Eddie when Sydney confronted him about liking Jill and he said he wasn't worthy enough of her :( that just made me sad because he'd been through so much of course he worthy of her!
Then Angeline came in and I was just like wow, I was right, she does play a bigger role just not in the VA series. And then Dimitri walks in and I was like the next book is SO going to have some tension in it.
I would rate this book a 4/10 stars which I think is one of the lowest ratings I've ever given because this book just DID not interest me.

SPOILERS FOR THE GOLDEN LILY BELOW

So my first thoughts in this book were, where is Ian? Yeah, I actually remembered him from Last Sacrifice and that he was infatuated with Sydney. It was really obvious from the beginning for me that Angeline liked Eddie, though it took Sydney a little longer to figure it out.
I thought that maybe Trey liked Sydney so there would be a Trey x Sydney x Adrian love triangle nope, he likes Angeline, though, I thought he might like Jill when he was looking at her and like 'I never really noticed her before....'
Ugh and when she's all MAGIC IS SO WRONG IT'S AGAINST THE RULES OF NATURE I was just like Sydney, Shut up, no one cares, just practice your magic like a good little girl.
"Actually I can imagine a lot of guys into you." Adrian can be so sweet.
I thought THERE IS SOMETHING UP WITH BRAYDEN because he was just TOO perfect for Sydney, she said 'it was like he read my mind' and that set off a whole number of alerts in my head but it turns out he was just an extraordinarily boring human. When she showed up to the dance in the dress and basically called her a prostitute I was like Oh hell no. Then after their first date Sydney shook his hand I was just laughing so hard. Think about how awkward that would be.
It was SO obvious that Adrian liked Sydney in this book, he did a lot of stuff for her. 'Adrian would probably cling to Brayden's bumper until he got an introduction' haha just picture Adrian doing that and if that doesn't make you laugh I don't know what will.
"So far I'm no seeing a lot of difference between me and a carnival con man."
So when a human 'recognized' Sonya I was like OMG they have a family member that she probably killed when she was a stigoi and now they're gonna try and kill her, half right there.
Sydney just kept annoying me in this book I was about to yell JUST LEARN THE DAMN SPELLS ALREADY and that wouldn't really be good since I'd probably wake  up everyone staying in the Lake District.
By the Angel when Jill was like 'Wow Sydney you look SO pretty today." I was cracking up because it was obvious it was Adrian's emotions but Sydney is just like. "Um.. thanks?"
After Sydney's meeting with the two warriors of light I was like wait a minute, is CHRIS a warrior of light, and look I was right. DANG IT THAT RHYMED AGAIN.
Ugh Adrian when Adrian was being a jerk so Sonya when he was protecting Sydney I just wanted to pick something up and throw it at him like SHUT UP.
Is it totally bad that I wanted Trey to win that fight between him and Chris?
It was so funny when they're all fighting and yelling GRAB THE ALCHEMIST GIRL. And Sydney is just watching and then she thinks 'The Alchemist Girl. Right. That would be me.'
Wasn't so cute that Adrian knew how to drive stick but just did that to be around Sydney? But then she was a total jerk to him when he confessed his feelings and I was just sitting there like -_-
I would rate this book a 7/10 stars it definitely improved since the last book.

SPOILERS FOR INDIGO SPELL BELOW

As soon as I heard that Sydney was going to that wedding I was just like I WANT HER TO MEET LISSA AND CHRISTIAN AND ROSE HERE. I got very excited when she SAW Lissa and Christian but very disappointed when she didn't talk to them. Then Finally Ian shows up in the plot, it's like, dude, it took you long enough.
Okay so the whole thing with Veronica was creepy and when 'she' showed up in Sydney's dream I was like WOAH there back up. Then when Sydney realized she didn't have her cross I was just thinking "Ohhhh, so that's how Veronica found out about her." It was so cute how Adrian gave her a new cross.
Another thing that seemed obvious to me- Angeline cheating on Eddie with Trey like seriously it was really obvious that they were sneaking around together.
Mrs. Terwilliger was all like Oh Veronica would never go after me. But I was just thinking I bet you that she's her main target.
I loved that Sydney finally accepted her magic and started really getting comfortable with the vampires around Palm Springs, IT'S ABOUT TIME.
Then Adrian and Sydney were parents to the Callistana I was just laughing my head off at that. Also HE'S SO CUTE, a mini dragon who eats and sleeps? I WANT ONE.
"You should get him some toys." Lol, Jill.
Then when Hopper wagged his tail my head went all to AWWWWW. Mom, Dad, I want a Callistana for Christmas and one that lasts forever not just for a year.
That dream between Adrian and Sydney got steamy pretty quickly with all the 'I'm a quick study' lol.
So when Alicia had that protection pendent on I was just thinning *GASP* IT WAS VERONICA IN DISGUISE.
Yeah, no just it turns out Alicia was even more of a psycho than Veronica. Then when we met Alicia in Mrs. T's house I was just thinking NOOO she comatosed her! good that she didn't. Dear Raziel, when they didn't find Alicia's remains I thought that meant she was alive, so I had the natural reaction, I freaked out. And then when they were like oh your cousin's in your room, I thought it was Alicia and I was just thinking don't GO IN THERE. But nope it's just Zoe and I can predict from here that she's going to be trouble.
Remember when Lia took those pictures of Jill? I thought that would come back to bite them but it didn't...
I would rate this book an 8/10 stars it was pretty good.

SPOILERS FOR FIERY HEART BELOW

The dual POV was interesting and annoying at the same time. As soon as they mentioned that the cufflinks and how expensive they were I Was like, he's going to sell them. Yep he did. Zoe sounds cute and annoying at the same time, like it's cute how she looks up to Sydney.
Then we finally hear from Lissa when she's not he phone with Adrian but all the talking to Lissa is really short which disappointed me.
"I'd just kinda hoped you'd learn it from a real guy." Haha Trey.
When Adrian sold the cufflinks I thought he wasn't going to get them back but he did, barely.
... Which is how we ended up kissing and rolling around on the floor again. Haha I'm glad Adrian was able to get over Rose.
Haha Trey is jealous of Angeline and Neil.
'It's amazing how nice people can be if they think you're going to die.' one of the best first lines in a chapter I've ever read.
I was happy when Lissa and Sydney finally talked if even for a brief period of time.
Treejitsu ðŸ˜‚
I thought Eddie was going to die in that fight against the Stigoi but luckily he didn't, I'm constantly worrying for people's lives here.
THEN FINALLY EDDIE AND JILL KISS. IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME.
When Eddie showed up looking ravaged I was like WHO WAS TAKEN JILL OR SYDNEY?
Yeah I found out it was Sydney as soon as we went to Sydney POV.
I felt bad for Adrian and Sydney but I was happy to hear that Lissa could finally dream walk, lol yeah that's what I was thinking about in this part of the book.  That and in the next book somebody better kick the alchemist's asses.
8.7/10 stars.

SPOILERS FOR SILVER SHADOWS BELOW

YES! I just finished this book an hour ago since I was working on my fifth blog all day yesterday.
My first initial thoughts on this is Why doesn't Sydney pretend to be better so she can get out? which is what she finally decides to do.
I also felt really bad for Hopper because he was stuck in his gold form until they got Sydney back.
Okay I already wanted to kill Sydney's history or whatever teacher when he was like Oh yeah obviously the Guardians don't care about us because they aren't out killing strigoi. UH HELLO MOROI NEED PROTECTION AND NO WONDER THEY AREN'T PROTECTINGYOU BECAUSE YOU'RE UNGRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING THEY'RE DOING FOR YOU. Then they ACCUSED MOROI OF HELPING THE STRIGOI and I just totally lost my shit there. AND THEN they have the nerve to say Moroi aren't strong willed and I was like UH HELLO HAVE YOU MET CHRISTIAN OZERA AND LISSA DRAGOMIR? OH WAIT YOU HAVEN'T BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Yeah didn't tale them insulting the Moroi and Dhampirs very well to say the least.
I thought it was kinda lame of Adrian to just leave without saying goodbye to anyone but then he went to see Lissa and Rose so it was okay. BUT then he yelled at Lissa and I could SEE Lissa's point so I was mad at Adrian for that.
I was laughing at Hope when she got told off for being like Oh Sydney is such a horrible person.
Then Adrian totally humiliated Wesley so I felt very satisfied with that.
Then it turns out Emma isn't little miss perfect and she helps Sydney out which I really liked because they all ended up teaming together.
Adrian was really annoying with all his getting drunk and stuff with Nina and then he got pissed at Sonya for saying back off about Nina, but then he got his karma for that when Nina got pissed at him for rejecting her so it's okay.
He finally got around to trying to contact Sydney and I loved that talk, it was just touching how they FINALLY got to see each other.
I decided even though Angeline has been pretty annoying in these books that she's better in this book and her and Trey together is really cute.
Are Marcus and Carly going to be a thing? he seemed to like her when he met her.
"Idaho's the gem state, not the potato state." Lol
I liked that Marcus and Adrian were working together to save Sydney even though they don't exactly get along.
When Trey said he was going to go and save Sydney for them I was afraid he was going to die, same will Eddie.
I'm still curious who that blonde with the glasses was that came around looking Adrian and Sydney was.
Ugh Duncan was being so annoying when he wouldn't help Adrian and Marcus by telling them what he knew.
I already guessed that Chantel was probably in the same area where Sydney was and I think she's probably a magic user.
The whole escaping from the casino was awesome, like the SUV blowing up and all. When they were escaping I was just like Why don't they go to court? The Alchemists would never go there, and eventually they finally do. Then they got married in Las Vegas and it was SO cute.
Okay Sheridan really got on my nerves in this book, she was so annoying, wasn't she?
Then I presume the alchemists took Jill, SOMEONE BETTER FREAKING GET HER BACK IN THE NEXT BOOK.

Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead

Remember when I said I was avoiding this series because I didn't want to read another series where I didn't know all the words? That was a lie, I avoided this book series because 1. Sorry but Vampire Academy sounds really stupid and 2. because my friend made fun of me when I said I wanted to read this series. Yeah so thanks a lot C!!!!
So I freaking loved this series, it was amazing. I would rate the whole series all together 9.8/10 stars, yeah it was that good. Okay so this series has one of the most retarded (sorry!) names I've ever heard but it's actually really good. So if you haven't read it go read it. Now. Because it's one of my favorite books and I LOVE this series.
Here's the synopsis

St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger. . . .

Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever
_________________________________________________
That synopsis doesn't actually sound like at all like the book, but just go and read the book, it's good.
One of the things I loved about this series is that there's no main antagonist besides like the strigoi so you're kinda left with some surprise on who is the main antagonist in the book. My favorite book in the series is Spirit Bound, but my favorite part is the fight scene at the end of Blood Promise. My least favorite book is probably Frost Bite.
My favorite characters are Adrian, Lissa, Christian and Rose. My one complaint is that the relationships move really fast like how they fall in love way too quickly or make up kinda fast, except for Lissa and Christian's relationship, I thought that was timed well.
So if you haven't read the book go read it now and come back and read the review, because trust me, you DON'T want to be spoiled in this series.

SPOILERS FOR VAMPIRE ACADEMY

Okay so sorry if I don't always mention anything in the beginning because I usually forget to take notes until AFTER I start the book. Anyway, I really liked Christian, he has black hair and blue eyes and just like Magnus Bane, it's my favorite combination.
Dimitri is one of those characters that I don't love but I don't not like (great grammar right?)  Like he's just too... Good and responsible, I prefer the bad boys TBH. Except for Cricket. I loved Cricket.
All the dead animals was really gross, especially the one on her bed, I would probably pass out if I found a dead animal on my bed. Because 1. I love animals 2. There would be blood all over my bed.
Mia was a real bitch in this book, but in books with High School in them there usually is one.
"No I think it's hot." Ah I was dying at that, I loved Christian from the beginning. "And what I did to Ralf won't seem like anything."
It was obvious when Jesse found out that Lissa had been feeding off of Rose that he was going to tell everyone I'm not sure why Rose thought he wouldn't.
Another thing Christian related that I loved was his relationship with Lissa, since I like both of them I LOVE THEM TOGETHER. They're just such a cute couple.
It was so obvious that Mason liked Rose, but also obvious it wouldn't work out since she was already sorta into Dimitri, which is sad because Mason is so cute and sweet.
I did not like it when Rose told Christian that Lissa thought he was creepy, but I knew that was going to happen because.... well... I saw the movie first. A good thing about me watching the movie was when I watched it, it was online and the faces were really blurry so I could imagine the characters however I wanted without the Actor's face in my head.
I noticed from the start that Lissa had really powerful compulsions, like I've seen The Vampire Diaries, lol, and in that only the Originals can compel other vampires. BTW I like the Originals better than the Vampire Diaries, if any of you are TO or TVD fans, TVD just sorta got too complicated. Plus
(SPOILER)
Damon died so yeah I'm still upset about that

(SPOILER OVER)
It was obvious that even though Christian was being an ass to Lissa that he still liked her but he was hurt by what Rose said.
I thought that it was funny when Dimitri said he beat up his Moroi father. I liked him better after they talked about his dad, but I still didn't like like him, he's just too... serious isn't the right word, but that's the one I'm going to use. I bet Mason is going to die because everyone says that the Covenant Series is a rip off of this one and
(SPOILERS)

Caleb dies

(SPOILERS OVER)

I see the similarities, but I'm going to give Jen the benefit of the doubt and say she hadn't read the Vampire Academy Series while writing the Covenant Series. But we'll get to the comparing those two series in another blog post.
By the Angel, when Mason protected her when like the other people were all calling Rose a blood whore and slut and stuff I just thought that was SO cute. Then when she said "Tell him I'm sorry" I was like AHAHHHHHHH FEELS.
The whole thing with Lissa like turning everyone against Mia for Rose, like you could see she had good intentions but it turned her into someone else. Then Christian accused her of faking her feelings for Aaron (which she was) and kissed her and I just can't even describe how I was feeling then. Lissa and Christian are definitely my OTP for this book series. But then Lissa told Christian she hated him and slitted her wrist so that ruined the moment. Just a little.
'Ralf looked kind of like he wouldn't have minded' 😂 I was laughing so hard at that part.
When Christian went after Lissa when she ran away from the dance, awwww, but then Christian got whacked in the head and Lissa got captured, they didn't really get a long happy moment really in this book, did they?
"You're so beautiful it hurts me sometimes." DYING.
"I'm a stowaway." Haha, Christian.
The part where they saved Lissa from Victor and then Lissa drank from Rose to heal Christian was one of my favorite scenes in the book.
"I won't throw myself in front of her. I'll throw myself in front of you." Even though I don't ship Rose and Dimitri I was STILL crying on the inside about that line.
Overall I would rate this book a 9.9/10 AMAZING.

SPOILERS FOR FROSTBITE

Okay to start this out, why in Raziel's name is it called Frost Bite? Like I get all the other names... kinda, except Frost Bite.
"I figured you'd have taken it and run by now." ðŸ˜‚ When Dimitri pulls out the stake.
It was obvious to everyone, well, me, that Rose's mother really did love her, just in her own tough love way. And it was also obvious that Tasha liked Dimitri, sorry, Dimka, from the beginning too. I liked Tasha in this book, she was fun and nice.
I thought that even though Lissa and Christian were officially together in this book that Lissa should still find some time to talk to her, I mean, they're best friends and Rose started keeping a lot from Lissa in this book, how she was feeling about Dimitri and all that stuff. I feel like if Rose had talked to Lissa about it she would feel less of a burden. I also get why Rose was jealous of Christian, it's normal, Lissa isn't all hers anymore.
When Rose got dragged into Lissa's head when her and Christian were about to have sex I was just laughing 'it'd be like loosing my virginity virtually'.
I was so scared for Mason when he fell on the ski slope, since I had a theory about him dying I was like flipping out, though him dying on the ski slope was pretty unlikely.
I knew that there was an Adrian in Frost Bite and he'd be the main third point of the love triangle in the series so when that Moroi talked to her about her smell I was like ADRIAN and I was right.
I think it was  cute when Rose kissed Mason but I felt like she was just using him because she couldn't be with Dimitri, which, to be fair, she was.
I didn't know Adrian was a Spirit User yet but when they shared a dream I was ecstatic since I already loved Adrian's character. I like Adrian more but it's obvious that Rose is going to choose Dimitri because the protagonist always pick their first love
Clary and Jace
Bella and Edward
Tessa and Will
Tessa and Jem
Ruby and Liam (IF SHE SOMEHOW ENDS UP WITH CLANCY FREAKING GRAY I AM GOING TO BURN IN THE AFTER LIGHT)
Alex and Aiden
Katy and Daemon
June and Day
IDK who Cassie is going to choose but I hope it's Evan unless Ben improves
Percy and Annabeth
Hazel and Frank (I do not count Leo as a first love since that was Sammy)
etc.
I felt bad for Mia when her parents were killed and it reminded me of when LEA's parents were killed in Halfblood.
I had a theory on Adrian being a spirit from the minute he started having an interest in talking to Lissa, and I was right. Then he sent Rose perfume and I was just awwwww.
'Good god. Men everywhere." Lol
"That guy's your dad?"
"That's what my mom says."
and THAT is one of the reasons I love Adrian he's hilarious (it was more funny if you actually read it in the book)
I didn't want her to dump Mason when she went to go and break up with him but I didn't want her going out with him because she didn't actually like him, yeah, conflicting emotions. When Mason's roommate said he wasn't there I immediately thought what if he's with Mia? and he was, just not in the way I thought, he, Mia and Eddie had gone to fight Strigoi, like idiots. I predicted from there that Mason was going to die.
So I was flying to Iceland while reading this book so when I read that Christian was going with Rose I wrote this 'Christian better not freaking die or I will hurl this kindle across this plane and scream' it's good he didn't die because that would be a little awkward to explain.
"Well, um, you see this fictional boy that I like died in the book I was reading, sorry for making you go to the hospital because my kindle fire hit you in the head, I'm sure that's not what you wanted to do when you came to Iceland."
When Adrian contacted her through a dream to find her though..
I KNEW Mason wouldn't leave her when she told him to run, even though I knew he was going to die that doesn't mean I wasn't really sad hen he did die.
I liked Mia and Rose's half friendship, it was cute but it kinda reminded me of Lea and Alex's sorta friendship so I thought Mia would probably die.
8.5/10 stars
SPOILERS FOR SHADOW KISS BELOW

She was virtually having sex with Christian again. ðŸ˜‚
So we didn't really know anything about Eddie because he didn't have anything to do with the story line before but now we really meet him in this book and I really liked him. When Rose got Christian to protect I was laughing so hard.
"Picking out curtains, doing each other's hair, telling ghost stories...."
Both Christian and Rose are jealous of each other's connection to Lissa which I found kinda funny. And IDK why this is so weirdly spaced, I apologized that I have no idea how to change it back.
"You  did not just say that. I have a feeling we're on the verge of hugging and coming up with nicknames for each other."
"I already have a nickname for you, but I'll get in trouble if I say it in class."

____________
"I think you have a promising future as a housewife while Lissa worlds and makes millions of dollars."
"Funny, exactly my dream."
____________
I could tell that Christian was jealous of Adrian from the beginning. It was obvious that the whole thing with Jesse was a set up so I was like DON'T GO WITH HIM and smart Christian didn't though, it wasn't really a set up and it wouldn't work that well on him since he sucked at compelling people.
Rose had a fangirl ðŸ˜‚ Jill. Brett Ozera? I didn't realize the Ozera's had any other family so I was surprised to hear the name. So someone was beating up the royals and I was like, was is Mason's ghost? but yeah I was WAY off. Hey look, the formatting got back to normal. Yay, Adrian got them into the trial. I love him.
When she got that head ache I literally wrote 'Oh shit what does this headache mean.'
Like I said before I really like Eddie, but I feel bad for him since he blames himself for Mason's death.
Tatiana seemed like a bitch but she wasn't to Adrian apparently.
Like I also said earlier I think the relationships move really fast in these books like Adrian loves Rose really quickly and I feel like Dimitri did too I think it would be better if Richelle worked up to it a little more. I was surprised when Mia and Rose hugged.
"It's called persuasion not harassment."
It's really obvious as I said earlier that Christian does't like Adrian because he is jealous of him and Lissa, and I gotta admit that Adrian and Lissa would be a cute couple but I love their relationship already, it's kinds older brotherly which I find really cute. I always wanted a protective older brother (I've said that way too many times)
"And I'm her favorite great nephew. Well, I'm her only great nephew, but that's not important. I'd still be her favorite."
Ugh Victor and his note. -_-
"I'd do a lot of things to protect you, Roza." Aw, still team Adrian though.

When they did the tarot card thing and Dimitri's said he would loose what what he most valued I thought it meant Rose but nope it was his SOUL.
When the ice storm happened and they and to land in the regular air port I was like SOME MOROI MADE THAT AND THEY'RE GONNA BE ATTACKED! but no... Rose was just attacked by some ghosts.
I didn't like how they were kind of treating Lissa like a little innocent puppy, oh she can't know this it'll hut her. Sometimes not knowing things will hurt her too.
"Then you'll never see us again and we'd be very sad."
"Yes," said Christian. "I'd cry into my pillow every night."

Ugh Jesse and Ralf's club is retarded. They attack people to see if they can compel them? Ugh.
Aw they said they loved each other (Dimitri and Rose) heck, I STILL prefer Adrian.
It's so funny Adrian and Rose have this intense moment when they're ABOUT to kiss then the bell rings and
"Now I can see Lissa," Adrian says happily.
_____________________________________________________
The Strigoi are on campus but looking on the bright side Rose finally got her stake.
I was SO scared Christian would die when he was fighting with Rose, like I'm always scared Christian will die, sometimes I swear authors kill people just to piss their fans off lol (VERONICA!!!)
The first thing I thought after the battle was over was IS EDDIE OKAY?! and no. he wasn't but luckily they saved him. But lost Dimitri in the process. I've realized from these books that Richelle sets the books up then around 70% in she adds the main fight and the action, did you notice?
"When you come back, will you give me a fair shot?" I was feeling like crying for Adrian at that point..
But then I was ACTUALLY on the verge of tears when Lissa had begged Rose to stay, ugh I hate it when friendships break up, even though theirs didn't it was just really sad.
9.5/10 stars

SPOILERS FOR BLOOD PROMISE BELOW

"You're the only one I want, Rose." Seriously , I would SO give up on Dimitri for Adrian.
So in that prophecy she got about her and the dead I was like okay this is going to be a big thing, not really, she calls upon the dead once accidentally to help her in a Strigoi.
So we meet Sydney in this book, I didn't know much about the Bloodlines series, but I knew that Sydney was the main character of it so I paid close attention to her in the VA series.
Haha, ironic that she went out to go and kill Dimitri and ends up staying with his family.
So when Avery is all nice to Lissa all these alerts went off in my brain IS SHE TRYING TO SET HER UP TO LOOK BAD? IS THIS SOME TYPE OF PLAN?! yeah, I'm that paranoid about my books.
When Yeva made Rose carry garden bricks I was laughing my head off.
Ugh then Rose started acting all bitchy and she like started yelling at Adrian over the dream about Avery and stuff, like I get she's taking away Lissa's anger but I was upset when she yelled at Adrian.
I got really mad when Rose got captured by Dimitri I just wanted her to kill him because it was what he wanted plus I like Adrian... (she says guiltily.)
I was SO upset when Christian and Lissa broke up like What? what? no this isn't happening.
So (Apologies I say 'so' and 'lol' way to often) I had this crazy idea that Oksana was Avery's MOM and that Avery was a spirit (after Rose got kicked out of Lissa's head) well, half that crazy theory was right, but the whole mom thing was a little too far out there.
When Rose killed Dimitri I was almost cheering but then I was like, wait a minute Rose can see the dead, is that how she and Dimitri are going to continue come of their relationship? Nope he just wasn't dead. Okay then.
This book kinda bothered me because of Rose's separation from Lissa also because she was stuck with Dimitri for a really long time.
So I figured out Avery was a spirit before they said it, but when she was trying to get Lissa to jump out of the window I was like SOMEBODY KILL THIS BITCH then I added Adrian maybe? lol.
'And that's when something truly beautiful happened. Lissa socked him in the nose.'
this was my favorite scene for  a lot reasons one of them begin it's easy for like Rose to fight because that's what she's trained to do but Lissa? she's never fought before so it was fun to read.
I have no idea why but I found it funny that they were all trying to compel Simon to do different things.
When we found out Victor's brother was a spirit user I was just like OHHH that's how he knew so much about spirit. But I read it wrong and thought Robert was BONDED to a spirit user not a spirit user, hey give me a break I was jet lagged in Iceland, as opposed to being jet lagged in America, lol.
So I thought oh Abe must be her dad or know her dad because he obviously cares for her and then CALLED IT! I love being right, I'll admit it.
"There was poetry in that motion." I love how proud Rose if of Lissa punching Reed.
"But I dropped out."
"Then drop back in!"
______________
Okay
Okay
ADRIAN AND ROSE SAID IT!
Ugh when we found out Dimitri was alive I was just like NOOOO I want Rose and Adrian together.

9/10 stars

SPOILERS FOR SPIRIT BOUND
I love watching people who are still in love with each other sorta edge around the other so I found this book hilarious for Christian and Lissa's relationship (still my OTP for this series I just predicted they'd be back together sometime). It's funny that they both got so jealous when the other talked to anyone of the opposite sex.
'And by girl stuff I mean breaking and entering.' You got it, Rose, it's my favorite thing to do, how'd you know?
Ugh I didn't want them to break Victor out JUST LEAVE DIMITRI AND STAY WITH ADRIAN HE'S AMAZING but obviously that wasn't going to happen.
"Did you know," He said slowly. "That Victor Dashkov is sitting on your bed?" Ah I loved the break out scene it was awesome. Though, I'm disappointed that they never went back to the mental place to check out the spirit users there, I thought since Richelle mentioned it that she would weave that back in, but she didn't, though when I heard there were spirit users there I was like AVERY IS THERE.
I felt so bad for Adrian because she was only with him because she couldn't be with Dimitri and she'd dump him in the blink of an eye if Dimitri said he loved her.
"Gentle girl or drunken sod?" Lol.
So they mentioned how Eric went to like the strip club or something so why would Richelle mention that if it wasn't important?
Ah Christian is suspicious of Rose, good smart boy.
Christian offers to go and teach Lissa how to stake strigoi so he can be around her aww but Rose 'Oh I'll teach them how to fight, starting with punching Christian in the face' lol. She says something similar about Serena.
I really like that Lissa wants to learn to fight, I don't want her to be helpless.
"You knocked out Reed Lazar. Rose mentioned it, like, a hundred times. I've never heard her so proud of something."
'Punching Reed Lazar had been a beautiful thing.'
Aw when Christian shielded her with his body I was practically drowning in the feels.
'She increased the stakes- no pun intended'. lol
When Christian brought the ring of fire around Dimitri and Lissa stuck her arm through it to try and stake him it was so intense.
Oh right, when Lissa and Christian were training together ahh hilarious, so much sexual tension.
"It would take a lot for that to change." and then she lay against his chest and he whispered happy birthday to him. I WAS drawing in the feels there.
When Dimitri was describing being strigoi it reminded me of Jace in City of Lost Souls, he was there but not really.
Christian still being really protective of Lissa THE FEELS THE FEELS
As I've said before Lissa and Adrian have a really cute brother/sister relationship and I would have liked to see more of that, heck I kinda just want the whole series to have another series of the same thing from Lissa's point of view.
Not-so-subtle mask, nice job Christian.
'Adrian apparently got the passwords for half the party' lol I feel bad for the guard people they have to like memorize all the passwords.
'Okay, it was hard for me to imagine him involved with anyone. His getting together with Lissa was monumental.'
"It's not my fault I'm a genius."
Ugh she keeps betraying Adrian for Dimitri STOP IT ADRIAN LOVES YOU!!!!!
Her screaming at the queen was a bad rash move on Rose's part.
Rose and Adrian get back together but she's eventually going to choose Dimitri I'll bet on it :(
"That was the best not-sex ever."
"There's only one person I have ever wanted." I just died of the feels.
9.9/10 stars

SPOILERS FOR LAST SACRIFICE
I felt really bad for Adrian off the bat, his great-aunt is dead and his girl friend- whom he loves- is in prison and will drop him at the first sign that Dimitri wants her back.
I didn't believe Adrian was out drunk for a minute so the real question was where was he really and what were they moving too fast on?
"Breaking out of jail is okay. But steal a car, and you sound totally outraged."
Okay I thought Rose was being an idiot when she ran away but it wouldn't be nearly as interesting a book if she just sat in West Virginia, actually, she could meet Daemon and Katy!
When Joshua proposed to her and then Angeline was like 'Fine you can marry my brother' I was dying of laughter.
I thought that when Angeline ran off into the woods to cry that she would follow them or something but nope, though she does have a part in the bloodlines series, a kinda annoying part.
Yay when Lissa got nominated by her friends to be queen I was cheering in my head, though, not out loud that's be awkward because I was on a plane to London.
Lissa is smart so I knew she'd be able to pass the tests and that eventually she'd probably became queen.
After hearing so much about Mrs. Karp we finally meet her, she's a lot younger than I thought she was.
GO LISSA! (When she lights the fire)
"You can call me Lissa."
"You can also let go of her hand now."
"I've seen you too. Ozera. Crispin, right?" ðŸ˜‚

"So what brings you and Christopher here?"
"CHRISTIAN."

I was really suspicious of Daniella about killing Tatiana but it seemed like the obvious choice so obviously it wasn't her (did that make any sense?)
"Oh and Kreskin too."
The fight between Sonya and Robert was pretty intense since they both know their spirit abilities.
Lissa's dream was like her own fear serum.
When they were talking about Liss's sibling Jill was actually my first guess because of a line that caught my attention back in Spirit bound about Lissa kinda reminding her of Jill, but how awesome would it be if Adrian was Lissa's sibling?
I'm STILL not really sure if I like Jill as a Dragomir I kinda found her a little annoying.
"Make a toga out of a blanket?"
Poor Eddie, he was just doing his job of protecting Lissa.
I was FLIPPING out at Rose when she cheated on Adrian, it pissed me off so much I can't even put it into words.
Victor's death seemed really swift to me, like he's always been a villain hovering in the background since book 1 so it was surprising finally seeing him dead, but poor Robert.
For the question about the queen my first answer was Trust but apparently the answer is nothing.
Ugh Rose just used Adrian :( Poor Adrian :*(
'Under the irrational assumption that anyone in nice clothes must be royal and all royals hated Lissa' LOL
Aw Sonya and Mikhail reunited that was so cute.
When Adrian saw Dimitri kiss Rose's head I was so sad for him.
The killer was so obviously not Daniella because they were avoiding saying his/her name, but I was not expecting it to be Tasha, that was a big plot twist for me, poor Christian though.
Then poor Adrian after his fight with Rose.
I don't like that their bond is broken, and as I predicted Lissa became queen. At the end of this book I'm still unsure of how I feel about Jill and I was very unsatisfied with the ending of this book, I WANT MORE ROSE LISSA ADRIAN AND CHRISTIAN. Really that's the only reason I read the Bloodlines series, but we'll get to my review on that series later. I would rate Last Sacrifice 9.8/10 stars it was really good.

Here's the Vampire Academy Movie Trailer
I am not going to post a review on the movie because
1. I saw the movie with a crappy quality
2. I skipped a lot of it when I saw it
3. I just spent four hours on this and I'm jet lagged and I want to see my friends :)
See you guys next time,

#Scandal by Sarah Okler

This book was amazing--- one of my favorites. I would give it a 9/10 stars. It's a mystery/romance contemporary novel about a girl- Lucy who goes to prom with her best friend's boyfriend when her best friend gets sick. The thing is- she's always had a crush on him ever since she met him. Apparently it wasn't just her. So they end up kissing. Then someone takes a picture of them and posts it on Lucy's Facebook along with a bunch of other incriminating pictures of their classmates. Ellie, Lucy's best friend is now pissed off at her along with the rest of her class so Lucy decides to get to the bottom of this so to speak and find out who took the pictures and who posted them on Facebook. If that does' sound interesting I understand, cuz I wrote it, here's the official synopsis.
Lucy’s learned some important lessons from tabloid darling Jayla Heart’s all-too-public blunders: Avoid the spotlight, don’t feed the Internet trolls, and keep your secrets secret. The policy has served Lucy well all through high school, so when her best friend Ellie gets sick before prom and begs her to step in as Cole’s date, she accepts with a smile, silencing about ten different reservations. Like the one where she’d rather stay home shredding online zombies. And the one where she hates playing dress-up. And especially the one where she’s been secretly in love with Cole since the dawn of time.

When Cole surprises her at the after party with a kiss under the stars, it’s everything Lucy has ever dreamed of… and the biggest BFF deal-breaker ever. Despite Cole’s lingering sweetness, Lucy knows they’ll have to ’fess up to Ellie. But before they get the chance, Lucy’s own Facebook profile mysteriously explodes with compromising pics of her and Cole, along with tons of other students’ party indiscretions. Tagged. Liked. And furiously viral.

By Monday morning, Lucy’s been branded a slut, a backstabber, and a narc, mired in a tabloid-worthy scandal just weeks before graduation.

Lucy’s been battling undead masses online long enough to know there’s only one way to survive a disaster of this magnitude: Stand up and fight. Game plan? Uncover and expose the Facebook hacker, win back her best friend’s trust, and graduate with a clean slate.

There’s just one snag—Cole. Turns out Lucy’s not the only one who’s been harboring unrequited love..

Well, the whole best friend and the boyfriend got me intrigued from the beginning I always love a good love triangle (though in real life that would be a pain) but this story wasn't so much about the love triangle, it was more about finding out who hacked Lucy's Facebook. That was a plot twist for sure. So go read this book then come back and we can compare reviews :)

SPOILERS

Cole sounds amazing from the beginning. Green eyes, brown hair... mhmmm. hot. Though, like Magnus Bane my personal favorite combination is black hair and blue eyes, though I don't mind green eyes. 4% into the book I discovered a spelling error *gasp* it says taking instead of talking. So Cole kisses Lucy under the stars and someone takes a picture of them. Then Lucy decides she needs to get over Cole and kisses Marceau. When Cole sees them he gets pissed off. But seriously I would've thought he would've been a little more mad a Lucy than just forgiving her and sleeping with her. Key word sleeping, they didn't SLEEP together.
Okay so I figured out someone stole her phone as soon as she said it was missing. But seriously, have they not heard of putting a passcode on their phones?
So Miss Demeanor I figured out she was one of Lucy's friends from the time she started helping Lucy out. Miss Demeanor was just a watered down lamer version of Gossip Girl. Actually literally when you find out who Miss Demeanor is--- Franklin. Because
(GOSSIP GIRL SPOILERS)

Gossip Girl is Dan so....

(SPOILER OVER)
Jayla sounds like a pretty awesome sister. Especially when she takes Lucy shopping. I want a sister like that, unfortunately I'm stuck with the one I already have. Though, Jayla in California sounded like kinda a bitch.
Cole sounds like a good guy, he wanted to apologize to Ellie and he waned to help Lucy out. Not like some boys in that situation would.
So this whole thing with Ellie made me want to cry. I hate it when you can literally feel and see your friendship slipping out of your grasp. It doesn't help that, that I had a best friend named Ellie once too. We grew apart and I still really miss our friendship. I'm only writing this on here because my class along with Ellie don't know about this website and the ones that do never take a look at my hard work lol. But yeah it really hurt when Ellie started blowing me off and ditching me last minute for other people, I mean we'd been friends for  long time and had done everything together and I told her everything. So I got upset over how frayed and broken Lucy and Ellie's friendship got and I didn't like where it ended in the book and how they weren't friends but they were talking.
If I want the truth to set me free, I have to track it down. Good line there.
It creeped me out to think that someone was in the closet watching them, though that actually wasn't true.
(e)VIL Sounds really weird, against vanity technology. So I'm sure selfies will give them a heart attack when Instagram comes into style. (e)VIL in the gym with Jay was funny.
I wanted more of Cole in these books I mean seriously she spent more time with Franklin than Cole and if this whole thing started when they kissed I think Cole should have been in it more.
Then there was Cole's confession in the words ending with them sleeping sleeping together. In the woods guys, really? It was muddy apparently.
When Jayla was talking to Lucy while she was in the bath, I just thought that was such a cute sisterly bonding moment.
"I'm in love with Lucy." akldfcuhv that was cute, but Cole really needs to work on his timing, I mean seriously, right in front of Ellie?
I'm not leaving my future wife out to dry. LOL Ash.
It was cute when Ellie came and stood up for Lucy in front of Haley and Olivia. But then she sort of just left so....
Olivia, seriously was being a total bitch to Lucy, though if a girl in my class had posted a picture of my vomiting, kissed the guy I really liked and got me grounded maybe for life I might be a bitch to her too.
I thought that maybe Ellie or Griff were Miss Demeanor since Miss Demeanor did so many things to help Lucy out but nope it was Franklin.
I felt really bad for Jay when she broke down crying about being fired.
I thought that maybe Franklin might like Lucy when he started avoiding her a bunch and when he apologized I thought it was for him posting something on like the Juicy Lucy page out of jealousy over Cole. But nope as awesome of a plot twist as that would've been, he apologized for being Miss Demeanor.
I felt badly for Franklin afterwards because Lucy was so pissed at him. Ugh what can i say despite how I act I'm a very empathetic person.
IT TURNED OUT TO BE GRIFF who took the pictures and sent them in. I was NOT expecting that one. Big plot twist, nice one Sarah.
Lucy did the right thing not showing her evidence. But IDK If I would've done the same thing. Lust for revenge can really take you over sometimes and I'm the type to hold a very long grudge....
I'm not sure if I liked the ending much but it was cute but I want to see Ellie and Lucy friends again. If I can't repair my friendship with Ellie, then at lest Lucy should be able to repair hers with Ellie.
Until next time,

Top 12 Books I Want To Read This Summer

Opposition by Jennifer Armentrout
So I read Obsidian, Onyx, Opal, and Origin and absolutely loved the idea and the characters. (10/10 stars!!) So this book comes out on August 5th and I am going to count Septemember as the end of summer month so yeah.
I don't like the new covers and am upset that the last book doesn't match the old ones.

Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came. She can’t believe Daemon stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred.

Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind AHAHHH it's sounds amazing I can't wait
The Darkest Minds series I fell in love with this May. I am so impatient so when the lat book comes out on September 16, 2014. If you guys are like it's not in September, it's October, duh.
IT COMES OUT IN SEPTEMBER ON THE KINDLE SO HA.
I really really want it..... NOWWWW

Ruby can't look back. Fractured by an unbearable loss, she and the kids who survived the government's attack on Los Angeles travel north to regroup. With them is a prisoner: Clancy Gray, son of the president, and one of the few people Ruby has encountered with abilities like hers. Only Ruby has any power over him, and just one slip could lead to Clancy wreaking havoc on their minds.

They are armed only with a volatile secret: proof of a government conspiracy to cover up the real cause of IANN, the disease that has killed most of America's children and left Ruby and others like her with powers the government will kill to keep contained. But internal strife may destroy their only chance to free the "rehabilitation camps" housing thousands of other Psi kids.

Meanwhile, reunited with Liam, the boy she would-and did-sacrifice everything for to keep alive, Ruby must face the painful repercussions of having tampered with his memories of her. She turns to Cole, his older brother, to provide the intense training she knows she will need to take down Gray and the government. But Cole has demons of his own, and one fatal mistake may be the spark that sets the world on fire

So if any of you follow my twitter (click here) you might know, I am totally in love with Cole Stewart. I mean how could you not love him? He's amazing. So excited to hear more about all these amazing characters :D
So I hear this book series is amazing, what do you guys think of it? I might buy Shatter me today, I know I'm planning on reading it someday and since I just finished rereading Champion by Marie Lu I have a free slot to read a book from myTBR list so I'm thinking it might be Shatter Me. So I went to Barnes and Noble the other day and I had my TBR list. So I look for Shatter me, nope just has Unravel Me and Destroy Me..... What? You can't have like the last two books if you don't have the first one in the series if you're a book store. And the sad thing is that it looked like they just got a new shipment of books. Then I was just looking around and either they didn't have the first book and it was in paperback. If you didn't know this about me, I love the hardcovers and don't buy the paper back unless I like it (it as in the cover) better.

I have a curse
I have a gift

I am a monster
I'm more than human

My touch is lethal
My touch is power

I am their weapon
I will fight back

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior

Sound good?
I hear this book is really good too, what do you guys think of it? It sounds okay but I have no idea. I hear hulu is showing the delirium pilot for July only. They didn't even have any of this series at Barnes and Noble -_-

n an alternate United States, love has been declared a dangerous disease, and the government forces everyone who reaches eighteen to have a procedure called the Cure. Living with her aunt, uncle, and cousins in Portland, Maine, Lena Haloway is very much looking forward to being cured and living a safe, predictable life. She watched love destroy her mother and isn't about to make the same mistakes.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena meets enigmatic Alex, a boy from the Wilds who lives under the government's radar. What will happen if they do the unthinkable and fall in love?

What do you think, should I get it? Should I read it before Shatter Me?
I heard this book was really good and it sounds interesting too. Especially since the boy's name is Jase. I like the name Jace and they sound the same so........

"One thing my mother never knew, and would disapprove of most of all, was that I watched the Garretts. All the time."

The Garretts are everything the Reeds are not. Loud, messy, affectionate. And every day from her rooftop perch, Samantha Reed wishes she was one of them . . . until one summer evening, Jase Garrett climbs up next to her and changes everything.

As the two fall fiercely for each other, stumbling through the awkwardness and awesomeness of first love, Jase's family embraces Samantha - even as she keeps him a secret from her own. Then something unthinkable happens, and the bottom drops out of Samantha's world. She's suddenly faced with an impossible decision. Which perfect family will save her? Or is it time she saved herself?
so this book is by Jennifer Armentrout and since I've read her other two series out and liked them--- I'm reading this one and since Jen hasn't let me down yet I hope she won't now.

One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she's anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she's crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she's not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn't an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she's the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.
The Iron Fey Series
I've heard good reviews, did you (if you've read these) like this series? I heard she wrote a vampire series too, I'll have to look that one up sometime.

Meghan Chase has a secret destiny; one she could never have imagined.

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school or at home.

When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.

But she could never have guessed the truth - that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil, no faery creature dare face; and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart
I've heard REALLY good reviews on this book especially from Katytastic

Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.

In a dark and dusty shop, a devil’s supply of human teeth grows dangerously low.

And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.

Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real, she’s prone to disappearing on mysterious "errands", she speaks many languages - not all of them human - and her bright blue hairactually grows out of her head that color. Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she’s about to find out.

When beautiful, haunted Akiva fixes fiery eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?
I may not read this one this summer but if I find the time I will.

But they must be careful lest the Strigoi—the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires—make Lissa one of them forever.

I've been avoiding this book for a while now-- I don't need another book where I have no idea how to pronounce their names lol. But it seems I'm going to have to read it sooner or later...
I've been avoiding this book because, well sorry if any Callums are reading this, but I don't really like the name Callum. I'd be fine with it probably if I hadn't seen The Secret Circle, but I did so..

Five years ago, Wren Connolly was shot three times in the chest. After 178 minutes she came back as a Reboot: stronger, faster, able to heal, and less emotional. The longer Reboots are dead, the less human they are when they return. Wren 178 is the deadliest Reboot in the Republic of Texas. Now seventeen years old, she serves as a soldier for HARC (Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation).

Wren’s favorite part of the job is training new Reboots, but her latest newbie is the worst she’s ever seen. As a 22, Callum Reyes is practically human. His reflexes are too slow, he’s always asking questions, and his ever-present smile is freaking her out. Yet there’s something about him she can’t ignore. When Callum refuses to follow an order, Wren is given one last chance to get him in line—or she’ll have to eliminate him. Wren has never disobeyed before and knows if she does, she’ll be eliminated, too. But she has also never felt as alive as she does around Callum.

The perfect soldier is done taking orders
This book sounds cute to me.

For Macallan and Levi, it was friends at first sight. Everyone says guys and girls can’t be just friends, but these two are. They hang out after school, share tons of inside jokes, their families are super close, and Levi even starts dating one of Macallan’s friends. They are platonic and happy that way.

Eventually they realize they’re best friends — which wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t keep getting in each other’s way. Guys won’t ask Macallan out because they think she’s with Levi, and Levi spends too much time joking around with Macallan, and maybe not enough time with his date. They can’t help but wonder . . . are they more than friends or are they better off without making it even more complicated?

From romantic comedy superstar Elizabeth Eulberg comes a fresh, fun examination of a question for the ages: Can guys and girls ever really be just friends? Or are they always one fight away from not speaking again — and one kiss away from true love?
Okay this book sounds really good to me, I can enjoy a good contemporary novel every now and then :) this book is definitely near the top of my TBR list.

Turns out Lucy’s not the only one who’s been harboring unrequited love...
So that's really all my REALLY want to read list-- Though I'm not desperate to read Vampire Academy I figured I should put that up there. If it's like the better version of Half-Blood why not try it?
I definitely am going to try and read Shatter Me, Delirium, Scandal, and My Life Next Door this summer, plus reread some books too this summer so we'll see what I get around to. If you want to look at all the books I sorta might wanna read click here to see my TBR pile on Goodreads. Also feel welcome to recommend me any book or friend me on goodreads.
